Honorary Doctorate Degree for Prof. Witt
We are proud to announce that Poznan University of Medical Sciences has awarded a honorary doctorate degree to Prof. Martin Witt on June 26 this year.
Prof. Witt is a brilliant scientist, valued expert in morphology and imaging, and a friend of PUMS whom we had the privilege to host as visiting professor. Currently working in the Department of Anatomy of University of Rostock, Germany, he has previously been affiliated with schools in Tuebingen and Dresden.
The award recognizes his exceptional achievement in modern cell and tissue imaging techniques using both electron and optical micrososcopy, his invaluable contribution to the development of experimental angiology, as well as his accomplishment of methodically putting into practice the idea of translational medicine.
