We are happy to announce that on June 19, 2023, the Medical Council of Thailand (TMC) has accepted PUMS' application for a renewal of accreditation of our medical study progam for another 5 years. This recognition facilitates the licensing process and induction into the profession of physician in Thailand for graduates of our University.

The Medical Council of Thailand is the professional regulatory body appointed by the Thai government to regulate medical education, access to medical practice, and patient care in Thailand. Our University was initially accredited by the TMC in 2017, and with the original recognition status bound to expire, we have submitted the accreditation survey again earlier this year. After reviewing the documents provided by the University, and meeting with the delegation of PUMS in Bangkok in May, the Executive Board of the Medical Council of Thailand has issued a positive decision to extend the accreditation of PUMS medicine studies until June 7, 2028.
