On September 11, 2019, a team of experienced cardiologists led by prof. Maciej Lesiak from the Lord’s Transfiguration Hospital, conducted an innovative procedure of implanting the Atrial Flow Regulator to a patient with pulmonary arterial hypertension.

We are shocked and terribly saddened to hear about the tragic death of our alumna, dr Karolin Hakim, in Sweden this week. Our heartfelt condolences go to her family and close ones in this sad time.
Junior Polish-American Medical Society in Chicago (Junior PAMS) is an organization created by Poznan University of Medical Sciences Alumni. Their first conference to be held in September will include residency interview workshops, scientific and social program, as well as successful guest speakers. The event is dedicated to the youth of the Polish-American medical community in Chicago, but anyone who would like to participate is welcome to do so.
